I'm Richard Cousins. A 23 year old, 3D artist, currently located in Derby, England.
I am very passionate about 3D and I have been since I was 16. I love all aspects of the 3D process. I would say my main passion lies in modelling characters, along with utilising different rendering engines to achieve great results.
The best thing about pursuing a career in 3D is that you are never finished. Every year there are new goals to be achieved; whether it is learning a new peice of software or mastering the latest modelling technique.
I have a Degree in Digital Media Design BA (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University, England.
So far, I have worked along side a prestigious local design company called Hotknife and created the new Beaver mascot for The Scout Association.
I have spent the last four years learning:
- 3DS MAX
- V-Ray
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Premier
You may be wondering what Ferocious Simplicity means? It's a fancy term I like to use to describe my work. It shows that my work is Ferocious in its appearance and quality while my approach to achieving great work is very simple.
